I have not posted since I set this up two months ago and boy, has alot happened in those two months! I just couldn't decide if I wanted to use a blog along with our website or not. I am afraid it will be too much to keep up with. Even though we have a </span><a href="http://www.thegiftofmaiafaith.com/"><span style="font-family:georgia;">website </span></a><span style="font-family:georgia;">for our Vietnam adventure, I thought it might be easier for some people to follow along if we used a blog. We will use this blog to post more day to day updates and events.<br /><br />As for now, there is not much to report, except for waiting. And waiting is a game we know how to play. Or I guess you could say that we have had much practice in that field. We should for now know how to do it well, but I don't think that is the case. Some days go by very calmly, and other days I want to jump out of my skin with the not knowing who my daughter is. One day...... maybe soon??? maybe not so soon??? Only God has the answer to that question. <em>In the middle of the night sometimes I lay awake in the dark and imagine what her little face looks like and if her hair stands on end or if she even has any hair at all. I think about what it will feel like to hold both her feet in one of my hands.</em> Once I start these ponderings in the middle of the night, it is almost impossible to go back to sleep. The only way to accomplish this is to pray for her. So I do.
